Hit The North Street Art Festival

Hit the North is a phenomenon. A grass roots street art festival based in a formally derelict area of Belfast which, has beatified hundreds of walls in Belfast and demonstrated the transformative power of creativity, entrepreneurship and most of all art.

"Established by @seedheadarts, Hit The North is Belfast’s biggest street art festival transforming the city’s visual landscape each year.

The festival brings artists from across Ireland, the UK and Europe to paint throughout the week, with a large-scale paint jam on Union Street and Kent Street.

Crowds gather around the @sunflowerpub area to watch the walls evolve in real time.

Alongside the painting, the festival features talks and events across the weekend."
