	nTickets via https://billetto.ie/e/sourdure-france-tickets-1769537\n[https
	://billetto.ie/e/sourdure-france-tickets-1769537]\n\nAn artist based in Th
iers (63)\, Ernest Bergez\, aka Sourdure\, has been exploring\nthe boundar
ies of distant sound worlds for the past ten years\, combining a\nspirit o
	f experimentation with a personal\, hand-crafted approach to traditional\n
musical objects. Hybrid and exploratory\, Sourdure‘s music reveals itself
in many\nfacets: baroque inventions on traditional canvas\, vociferous car
nivalesque odes\,\nstylistic borrowings from oriental music\, sonic orfevr
ery marked by concrete\nmusic… Combined with the acoustic rusticity of the
violin or the dotar (a\nCentral Asian lute)\, electronics do their alchem
ical work\, disturbing sound\nobjects\, altering perceptions and the cours
e of time.\n\nWhether exalted or bittersweet\, the vocals borrow from the
voices of classical\nArabic\, Turkish or Persian music. The Occitan langua
ge of Auvergne takes centre\nstage\, deploying its metaphorical and polyse
mous mesh to express the common\, the\nintimate and the sacred. The melody
is born from the word\, the poem gives birth\nto the song\, in a form tha
t could be distantly reminiscent of trobar\, the art of\nthe troubadours.
	A one-man orchestra\, a single man playing from a universe of\norchestras\
, Sourdure sings like the nose on your face.\n\nSourdure / Résidence à Alb

FUTURO (SCARS OF THE FUTURE). This nine-track sonic assault forges\na path
beyond the conventions and boundaries of static musical genres. Here\,\ne
lectronic fury and feverish organic percussion collide with a relentless L

dirty\, danceable and sweat-soaked\nintersection between raw punk and clav
	e-led Afro-Cuban music\, with a futuristic\napproach and bloodshot eyes. H
eavy pulsating 808 bass drums hit hard as a\ncharacteristic D-beat foundat

"The lyrics of 'CICATRIZES' are like an eyewitness account of a world\ncol
lapsing\, facing its devastating material and psychological consequences.\
nDescribing the journey from apathy to traumatic perception\, from alienat
ion to\nincurable witnessing\, the song captures the state of a consciousn
ess that\,\nawakening from the collective delusion\, confronts the terrify
ing reality that\nhas been concealed. The rhetorical question 'Is it all a
delirium?' is quickly\nanswered and amplified: it is not individual\, but
a collective 'great\ndelirium!'\, a toxic and dominant narrative that nor
malizes the absurd and\nparalyzes action."\n\n"Conceptually\, the album is
a visceral diagnosis of a world intoxicated by its\nown fictions of power
\, tracing the anatomy of a systemic grand deception and\nexploring its me
	chanics of psychological\, social\, and material domination\, the\nindelib
le marks imprinted on bodies and minds and it's catastrophic\nconsequences
. It is a journey from the poisoned and addicted collective psyche\nto the
desperate search for an antidote\, while the future seems to be already\n
cursed by the very forces that pretend to build it. Yet\, for all its them
atic\nweight\, CICATRIZES DO FUTURO is hypnotically danceable - physical a
nd\nritualistic music that demands body movement as a form of mental clean
sing. The\nalbum doesn't just reflect a fractured and violent world — it b
reathes desire to\nlive and resist through new sonic paths."\n\nThey conti
nue\, "Our music comes from the perception of the environmental\,\npolitic
al\, and moral toxicity that permeates our realities under such\ncondition
	s. In the context of the album\, the scars are those of a brutally\nstolen
past reflected in a wicked future. A permanent mark of violence is also a
\nmemory that will never be silenced!"\n\nFormed in 2010 in Volta Redonda/
Rio de Janeiro and signed with the\nNorth-American label Neurot Recordings
	 since 2017\, the work of\nmulti-instrumentalists Douglas Leal (vocals\, g
	uitar\, electronics\, samplers\,\npercussive\, artwork\, etc) and Marian S
