The Lay of the Land

What does it mean to belong to a place, and how do we shape — and get shaped by — the land around us?

Lay of the Land brings together artists from Core Creative in an exploration of our many relationships with the land. Through a diverse range of approaches and media, the exhibition considers landscape, memory, borders, belonging, folklore, nature and the traces we leave behind.

From the physical ground beneath our feet to the emotional and imagined territories we inhabit, the works invite us to look beyond the familiar and discover new ways of seeing, interpreting and connecting with the world around us.

Join us at Core Creative for the exhibition opening on Friday 6 November at 6pm, with wine. All welcome.
