The GAFF Open Night
The GAFF is hosting an open day for Culture Night!
Drop in for our artist-led workshops – and to discover our new studios, our new building, and this new creative space in Limerick city.
Activities will include:
🟢 tours of our newly-restored, heritage building, every hour on the hour – including a 4pm accessible tour with dim lighting, fidget spinners and sound-cancelling headphones
🟢 Frank McCarthy and Eoin Burke Maguire's interactive music production workshop from 4–6pm
🟢 Harry Bradshaw's socially-engaged project Cob, creating building material by hand using earth, sand and straw, from 5–7pm
🟢 Shannen Slattery's lino print art class (for all ages) from 6–7pm
All workshops are free, drop-in and an opportunity to connect and engage with local artists. We invite you to step outside your comfort zone and try something new!
Get hands-on with creative participation and celebrate the opening of a new culture and community space in the city. We look forward to seeing you there!
This event is made possible by Culture Night.
Design by Carey Long, with original art by Shannen Slattery and Paint Punch.
