The next Reception takes place March 14th and features the first time meeting of Sharon Phelan, Phil Maguire & Aonghus McEvoy alongside duo and solo sets!

Sharon Phelan is an artist whose work spans performance, installation, writing and composition, with specific attention to sound, voice, resonance and poetics of place.
Phil Maguire is a Cork-based Scottish composer and sound artist, producing electronic sound works with synthesisers and computers. In 2025 he was awarded a doctorate in Music Composition from University College Cork. Phil’s experimental music practice explores emergence and emptiness, of self, machine, and space. It draws from practice-led research that includes composing, performing, and presenting works across the spectrum of minimalism.
Aonghus McEvoy is a Dublin based composer, improviser and guitar player. Aonghus' work moves between collaborations with improvisers, indeterminate scores for small ensembles and skewed takes on folk idioms.
