Park & Ride: A Car Boot Picnic by The Boring Girls

Join us for a romantic evening at Killakee View Point ! Enjoy good food, playful interventions & free care packs inspired by our picnics.

After spending some time sitting with everything we learned from the conversations we had with all ye beautiful folk at our picnic series, exploring ideas around romance and intimacy within the ongoing housing crisis, we're delighted to announce our next ‘car meet’ gathering.

We'll be back at View Point with another aphrodisiac-inspired car boot picnic, but this time we will also be handing out our free care packs that have been created and shaped by the stories, needs, and ideas shared during previous picnics. These packs are designed to support those using cruising sites to sustain romance and intimacy during housing precarity, but can also be adapted to provide support at other settings.

What to expect:

• A shared meal

• Free care packs inspired by our picnic conversations to take away

• A car-responsive intervention (we’ve transformed a car into a playful and romantic nest)

Location: Killakee View Point

Date: Friday 21st August

Time: 6:30PM–9:30PM (we're wrapping up before sunset so the ‘park-and-riders’ can have their privacy!).

A free minibus will also be leaving from Tallaght Luas Stop at 6.30PM sharp if you need a lift. Alternatively, you can also drive up and meet us there at 7PM. Please indicate which option is perferred when booking.

As this is a catered event with transport provided, you will be asked to confirm your attendance two days prior so please keep an eye on emails. We put a lot of time and love into preparing our menu based on ticket numbers and we ask that you please respect this by not being a 'no-show' on the day. Thank you so much for your understanding!!
