Taking place Saturday 15th August in L Mulligan Grocer, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7 from 1-4pm (doors at 12:30)
Botanical Bordello features 2 amazing models from the world of burlesque to serve as your inspiration for the day and one will even treat you to an amazing performance!
So grab your art supplies and join us to draw, drink and smell the flowers!
About us
Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School is a global alternative life-drawing movement that blends traditional figure sketching with cabaret, burlesque, and music. Instead of a strict academic setting, artists sit in bars or alternative venues and sketch glamorous, costumed performers while enjoying drinks and live entertainment. There are silly contests and spot prizes throughout!
The philosophy of Dr. Sketchy's is that "everyone can draw". It is open to all skill levels, welcoming both seasoned artists and complete beginners who just want to have a fun afternoon doing something different. There are branches in over 100 cities across five continents and the next Irish branch first started up in May 2010 before taking a break and being resurrected in early 2024.
