	w is an attempt to perform techno music according to Steve\nReich's princi
	ple of "no hidden structural devices". To this end\, ZKELLIES\nutilise no 
	backing tracks. No sequencers. No click track.\n\n\n\nLongtime Irish under
	ground music stalwart Andy Connolly (Naive Ted\, Unscene) has\nenlisted th
	e renowned pair of Dan Walsh (Fixity) & Killian Barton (Bill\nKarnation) t
	o create a series of short musical phrases designed to be played by\ntwo d
	rummers\, moving between these phrases in the same way as a DJ builds a se
	t\,\nperforming a perceived "faithful" version of loop-based\, dancefloor 
	focussed\,\ntechno music.\n\n\n\nThis particular strand of techno is tradi
	tionally created with sequencers\ncontrolling synthesizers & samplers. ZKE
	LLIES is an attempt to take the\nsequencer out of the equation.\n\n\n\nTho
	ugh the music is semi-improvised & experimental in nature\, there is no wi
	sh\nto subvert the norms of the techno space\, only a desire to perform th
	e music\nrespectfully & in a different way.\n\n\n\nIt is music for dancing

	s energy\, hypnotic rhythms and\nexpert use of acid lines. Has shared line
