DESCRIPTION:The Kite Ballet is a multidisciplinary series comprising the ep

	in adulthood as a\nrevolutionary act.\n\nThe Kite Ballet by Thaís Muniz in
	tertwines poetic and mythical elements with\npolitical\, historical\, and 
	symbolic themes\, amplifying the voices of local\nactivists from the Itapu
	ã area in Salvador\, Brazil. The film portrays a group of\nkite runners in
	 their weekly communal ritual\, highlighting the threat of private\ndevelo
	pment and ecological displacement of Afro-Indigenous sacred territory\,\nw
