The\ninstallation is situated at Eirden House \, Belvedere Place\, Dublin 1 and will be\navailable for viewing 24/7 unti l the closing date. I will host a launch of this\nproject on the 25 July 2 026 at 3-5pm. \n\n--\n\nsmall moments (klein moment) is a collection of ph otographs taken in Ireland and\nGermany\, and explores a feminist imaginin g of our built environment. The work\ninvestigates the framework of daily routines informed by our relationship with\nthe material world. These phot ographs articulate the cinematic-like quality of\npattern which we see at the periphery of our vision as we walk past a chain-link\nfence and an aba ndoned urban lot\; a liminal window to what we experience as we\nmove thro ugh the landscape of our lives. While we at once see and identify\nsingula r materials and objects\, in that act of progressing through environments\ nour awareness of bodily presence dissolves into the momentary and the\nab stract. While the photographs are of specific\, identifiable architectures \, the\nimages however are strategically framed in such a way that the vie w is\nreconstructed as an exploration of line and form and shadow. \n\nThi s body of work was established and exhibited in 2023\, for the group\nexhi bition Zwischenräume at Neue Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Gera\, DE. The\ncollection of images responded to the exhibition title which in Engli sh\ntranslates to 'in-between spaces'.
