What is Leeside Collision?

Never been to a fighting game tournament before? No need to worry, all are welco me here! Bringing competitors and community together since 2022, Leeside C ollision is Cork's local fighting game tournament and social meetup.

Each Leeside Collision brings together players from Cork, Munster and acr oss Ireland for a full day of fighting games. You can enter a competitive tournament, play casual matches without anything on the line, watch the ac tion, or come along and meet people with similar interests.

Competit ion is an important part of Leeside Collision, with experienced players an d some of Ireland's strongest competitors regularly taking part, but you d on't need to be an experienced player to join them.

First tournament ? Just started playing? Haven't touched a fighting game in years? Coming o n your own? That's all completely fine!

Doors open at 1pm, giving ev eryone time to arrive, meet people and get some practice in before tournam ents begin starting at 2pm.

If you're new, come say hello! Ask someo ne for a game, ask for help learning the controls, watch a few tournament matches, or just hang out and get a feel for the community. Leeside Collis ion is an open social event as much as it is a competition and everyone is welcome.

Venue

The event takes place at the Middle Parish Community Centre , which is on Grattan Street and directly b ehind the Courthouse.

Competitors should bring a controller compatib le with the console being used for any game they enter. Full tournament ru les, game specific information and registration are available through our start.gg page linked above. You are required to sign up on that page if you wish to enter any tourname nt, but not if you just want to spectate.
