	the project of Ian Lynch (founding member of Lankum)\,\nexploring submerge
	d leylines of music and song\, drawing on the raw aesthetics of\nblack met

	s debut album …And Take The Black Worm With Me\, a slow-burning suite of\n
	five expansive songscapes\, was released on Nyahh Records in 2022 and foun
	d its\naudience by word-of-mouth. The album is partly recorded in an aband
	oned Dublin\nfactory where his father worked when he was a child. Lynch’s 
	harrowing vocals\nare underpinned by uileann pipe drones and overlaid with
	 effects and field\nrecordings to conjure a dark\, mysterious\, and ultima

	ginating from the West of\nIreland\, refers to the sound of the sea when i
	t is loud and ominous\, its tumult\nand texture akin to man-made or mechan
	ical noise\, a sound that foretells bad\nweather.\n\nGleo is a collaborati
	on between Ormston House and Jack Brolly. It is supported\nby The Arts Cou
	ncil of Ireland and Limerick Arts Office.
