DESCRIPTION:Pallas Projects/Studios are delighted to announce the participa
	ting artists in\nour Arts Council funded programme of Artist-Initiated Pro
	jects 2026. The series\nwill be part of a programme celebrating 30 years o
	f Pallas Projects/Studios.\nBetween January–December 2026 we will present 
	8 x 3-week exhibitions of new work\nby:\n\nPaddy Critchley\, Fiona Marron\
	, Finn Nichol\, Emma Brennan and Thomas Wells\, Ciara\nRodgers\, Struàn Be
	ll\, Christopher Mahon\, neonatus.exe\n\nArtist-Initiated Projects at Pall
	as Projects/Studios is an open-submission\,\nannual gallery programme of 8
	 x 3-week exhibitions taking place between January\nand December 2026. Thi
	s unique programme of funded\, artist-initiated projects\nselected via ope
	n call is highly accessible to artists\, with a focus on early\ncareer\, e
	merging artists and recent graduates. Projects are supplemented with\narti
	sts' talks\, texts\, workshops or performances\, and gallery visits by col
	leges\nand local schools.\n\nArtist-Initiated Projects aims to act as an i
	ncubator for early careers\, and\nsupport artists' practices at crucial st
	ages\, providing a platform for artists\nto produce and exhibit challengin
	g work across all art forms. The model of\nshort-run exhibitions with a re
	latively short turnaround time of 3–6 months is\nan alternative to the nor
	mal institutional model\, where the process of studio\nvisit to exhibition
	 can take several years. Shorter lead-in times allow the\nprogramme to be 
	quick and responsive\, reflect what artists are currently making\,\nand en
	courage experimentation and risk-taking.\n\nExhibitions will run Thursday–
	Saturday for 3 weeks\, with openings taking place\non the first Thursday e
