	ober – 22 November 2026.\n\nThe screening will take place at Cinema 2\, IF
	I\, and will be followed by an\nextended conversation and Q&A.\n\nAs the a
	rtist writes\, ‘At the centre of this film is the idea that time spent in\
	nunfamiliar cities or countries can reveal something about the constructed
	 nature\nof your own\, and the arbitrariness of social systems in general.
	 For Pierre\nBourdieu it was Algiers in the 1950s/60s\; for me it was Chic
	ago in the 1980s.\nOften this is framed as a negative condition\, but here
	 it’s positive. My film\nplaces viewers in the compelling centre of images
	\, symbols and social\nimpressions that produced this experience of estran
	gement and insight for me.’\n\nUsing the practical sociology of Pierre Bou
	rdieu as an interpretative frame\,\nQuaintance’s exhibition will present a
	n interrelated body of new moving image\,\nphotographic and textbased work
	. I’ll Always Remember… extends from a new moving\nimage work\, titled Bou
	rdieu\, in which the sociologist’s analytical tools are\nused as prompts g
	uiding a biographical retelling of the artist’s childhood\nexperience livi
	ng between London and Chicago.\n\nMorgan Quaintance’s work has been shown 
	at MOMA\, New York\; Konsthall C\,\nStockholm\; Courtisane Film Festival\,
	 Ghent\; Images Festival\, Toronto\;\nInternational Film Festival Rotterda
	m. He is the recipient of a number of awards\nfor his work\; most recently
