Running from 7th August – 1 0th October 2026 at Project\nArts Centre\, this event – the artists’ large st presentation to date – will\nfeature video installation\, sculpture\, p ainting\, and a live music performance.  \n\nA Disentailing Deed brings to gether many strands from the artists’ collaborative\npractice\, drawing on their extensive research into Irish and diasporic\nhistories. Two video i nstallations\, originally commissioned for the 41st EVA\nInternational—Ire land’s Biennale of Contemporary Arts\, have been specially\nconfigured for us here at Project Arts Centre. One\, presented as a bilingual\nkaraoke-s tyle video\, features a newly composed song about land ownership and\npopu lar resistance in North Sligo\, while the other presents ‘patriotic’ Ameri can\nfirework shows as a mirror image of the state violence they commemora te.\n\nA number of historical objects have been hand-replicated by the art ists\, each\nchosen for the physical traces and overlapping stories of emi gration and\npolitical struggle they contain.
